Orica's True Love

Recently, I noticed that Ar Tonelico forums I often visited, weezy.freeforums.org has been suspended or removed. It has been suspended because of terms of service violation. Hmm, no wonder about that since it was a free forum hosting service, the Weezy may suspended at anytime just as I thought. One thing I worried about, where I have to find more information about Ar Tonelico and some lyrics if the Weezy was suspended. I might lost all of my posts there. But surely I will not losing you all (Aqua-kun, Thunder-kun, Lazy, LOKfanatic-kun, ect), hehehe...lalala...

However, no worry about losing the old one. The new one has been hosted. You can visit and enjoy into the new Ar Tonelico forum, artonelico.isisview.org. Previously, I told you about problems where I can't continue to play Ar Tonelico 2 when I engage battle with Raki in Sol Marta. So that is it, thanks for Lazy-san and Thunder-san for the advice on the comment section. US version of Ar Tonelico definetely has a bad, very bad quality. No matter that your DVD is original or not, you will face same problems as mine.

According 2 of my friends, I must beat Raki within 3 turns. If you not, Raki will cast a special move that will make your game you played terminated or hang. 3 turns seems impossible, but I managed to try it. Here is the strategy I use to beat Raki.

I use Croix and Amarie as vanguard in level 60 and Cloche and Jacqli as Reyvateil. Don't forget to equip girl Power. In the first turn I using red magic (all red magic is okay, up to you). Make sure that you can boost your burst gauge. When you enter defend phase, you must guarding form enemy's attack perfectly. In second phase, activate Replakia, at least you must have 10 I.P.D to boost your attack. You still have the chance to boost your song magic. Then release your red magic in third turn, Raki shall defeat.

I must say that NIS America's works is quite bad. The first one is the retranslation result. Less voice dubbing in US version than the original JP version. Many terms has been changed. And then this fatal glitch like this. I'm sure that many people has annoyed with that because I often find their complaintments about Raki's problem" in some forums. For now I hope that NISA will improve their works and quality or it will decrease people's interest about game they managed.

Finally I got my Ar Tonelico 2 : Melody of Metafalica DVD. I bought it recently when I shopping. The graphic and game system is great, but something I don't like it is the opening that looks "strange" than its prequel. The story telling about Luca Trulyworth, Croix Bartel's chilhood friend who just lost her sister, Laytel Trulyworth because of I.P.D's infection that attacked the reyvateils. And then she meet Cloche Letyhal Pastalie and requested by Leglius to guard that Pastalie princess.

Maybe this game can be "Visual Novel RPG" than Ar Tonelico : Melody of Elemia. In fact, this game also contains semi-adult and "harem's game". A chilhood friend (Luca), a princess with Tsundere-type (Cloche), imouto fake type (Cocona Jelek), an adventurer (Amarie Gelade) and one cameo from previous Ar Tonelico, Jacqli (actually Mir)

The worst thing I found in this game is the translation result made by NIS America that make strange heard. Most of the names and terms changed by spelling or even something that have an important role in the storyline. Honestly, I just annoyed with that, however I must accept this with spacious chest.

Croix Bartel (formerly Chroah Vatel), I think it's okay, but something strange to "Bartel", just strange in my ears.

Luca Trulyworth (formerly Ruka Trulywaath), her name has an important role. Trullywaath means "revive" in Hymmnos. But they changed it.

Cloche Letylal Pastalie (formerly Croche Latel Pastalia), no comments at all, just "Cloche" means "churchbell" in French.

Jacqli (Jakuri), Jakuri's name is more famous that "Jacqli" one. Just strange in my ears.

Pippen (Pepen), Cloche's penguin. I think she will kill someone who done that translation with her sword :)

That's all of my opinion and complaints about Ar Tonelico 2. However I shall enjoy it for awhile. Please, don't disturb me when I playing. If you want to invite me in "kondangan", only 3 answer I' say :

"I'm not going!"

"I refused!"

"Don't disturb me!"

Hahaha, just kidding.....

This song for me is very good and gentle, sounds majestic. Sung by Misha (Hymmnos voiced by Akiko Shikata) to prevent Mir awaken from her long sleep. Misha sacrificing herself by singing forever under the Crescent Chronicle, where Mir was sealed. In Ar Tonelico, this song has an important role in the way of the story, especially in Phase 2 for Misha Path.

However I love this song so much, even this song is the slogan of this blog.
